…but it was the right time. Maybe it’s time to look at calendar syncing tools for my phone.

A chilly november morning, apparently.

- Got Zoomify viewer loading in MFIC application.
- Good start on Zoomify annotation integration.
- Logged MT4 Edit interface bug in footprints.
- Set up blog tech committee planning meeting.
The clock change means that it gets dark even earlier. Lucky for me, I have a light at my desk.
- Some good progress on MFIC/Zoomify interface. Almost ready to set up annotation.
- Processed ICCIE/IBM.
- Checked on OASys request - client may have found a solution already.
- MMG support, modified link for 1st case.
First solid development day in what feels like a while (no meetings all day!). Have you set your clocks? A day after the switch and I still haven't changed all mine.
A few pre-game tasks this weekend:
- Made changes to MMG application, adding delete/reset option and fixing case listing urls to point to the html embedded swf instead of the raw swf.
- Submitted a support request yesterday for unresponsive CONTENTdm server yeilded a quick response and an even quicker solution (have you thanked your sysadmin lately?)
Patriots barely pulled it out for the win against the Colts today. Will they go 16-0?
Friday already?
- Wrapped up another interview
- Tweaked MMG application
- Lightweight support for podcasting/garageband workshop
- Dug deeper into Expression Engine (quite a robust CMS application)
- Had a fun stairway conversation with a faculty member on the steps in the Davis Center this morning (btw, Gordon's coffee has improved by leaps and bounds)
- Found out about a few incoming new online courses
- Eco-Econ planning meeting
- Had a productive (and quick) bi-weekly one-on-one/check-in
- Processed ICCIE
Yes, it is finally Friday. Busy week - see you Monday!
Another heavy meeting day, as we started interviews. Some highlights:
- Looked again at Expression Engine templating - need to find out if we really need to import pre-made themes or not.
- Began looking into issues with existing MMG issues - possibly related to serving the swf file straight up, instead of embedding it.
- CMS group started prioritizing items from the brainstorming sessions
- Did I mention interviews?
- Touched footprints ticket on reported MT4.01 Firefox/Mac issues. Still looking for a solid list of open MT bugs - hard to find stuff between MT's Pronet (which isn't even open, making it hard to point colleagues to anyway), Community Wiki, Forums, etc.
- Processed IBM
- Got schooled on better RSVP practices, calendar kung-fu, and other ways to avoid bad calendar karma.
- I think I owe holly a pen.
Tomorrow will go smoother.
